The idea about the swatch panel
In addition to the color panel, the color picker, Swatches panel, Style panel, Symbol panel etc. can be used to fill the object's fill color or various patterns, styles, gradient etc. We have already said that we will be familiar with the various menus or panels in this chapter, including the tools. Now let's change the color of the rectangle using the Swatches panel.

Swatch প্যানেল সম্বন্ধে ধারণা

Color প্যানেল ছাড়াও Color Picker, Swatches প্যানেল, Style প্যানেল, Symbol প্যানেল ইত্যাদি থেকে অবজেক্টের Fill কালার বা বিভিন্ন ধরনের Pattern, Style, Gradient ইত্যাদি দেওয়া যায়। আগেই বলেছি আমরা এই অধ্যায়ে টুলসহ আনুসঙ্গিক বিভিন্ন মেনু বা প্যানেলের সাথে পরিচিত হবো। এখন Swatches প্যানেল ব্যবহার করে Rectangle টির Color পরিবর্তন করব।

1. To open the Swatches panel, from the menu, click the Window> Swatches command or click the Swatches tab from the Expand Panel.
1. Swatches প্যানেল খোলার জন্য মেনু থেকে Window>Swatches কমান্ড দিন অথবা Expand Panel থেকে Swatches ট্যাবে ক্লিক করুন।

2. Swatch panel will come and have different color, gradient and pattern. Most panels have buttons at the bottom. Clicking this button will turn off / off options.
2. Swatch প্যানেল আসবে এবং বিভিন্ন Color, Gradient এবং Pattern থাকবে। অধিকাংশ প্যানেলের নিচের দিকে বাটন থাকে। এই বাটনে ক্লিক করে সংশ্লিষ্ট অপশন অফ/অন করা যায়।

3. Click the Swatch Types menu in the second button at the bottom of the Swatches panel, select menu, select the Show Color Swatches by clicking on the text option.
3. Swatches প্যানেলের নিচের দিকের দ্বিতীয় বাটনে Show Swatch Kinds menu ক্লিক করুন, মেনু আসবে এখান থেকে Show Color Swatches লেখা অপশনে ক্লিক করে সিলেক্ট করুন।

Notice that only the Color Swatches will appear with different types of colors and the Gradient or Pattern Swatches will not be visible.
লক্ষ্য করুন বিভিন্ন ধরনের কালারসহ শুধুমাত্র Color Swatches দেখাবে এবং Gradient বা Pattern Swatches দেখা যাবে না।

4. Click on the third option again, click Show Gradient Swatches, click on it.
4. আবার তৃতীয় অপশনে ক্লিক করলে Show Gradient Swatches লেখা দেখাবে, ক্লিক করুন।

5. Notice that only Gradient Swatches with different Gradient will be shown and Color or Pattern Swatches can not be seen.
5. লক্ষ্য করুন বিভিন্ন ধরনের Gradient সহ শুধুমাত্র Gradient Swatches দেখাবে এবং Color বা Pattern Swatches দেখা যাবে না।

6. Click the second second button and select Show Pattern Swatches by clicking on it.
6. চতুর্থ দ্বিতীয় বাটনে ক্লিক করে Show Pattern Swatches এ ক্লিক করে সিলেক্ট করুন।

Notice that the Pattern Swatches, along with a variety of patterns, can not be seen in Gradient and Color Swatch.
লক্ষ্য করুন বিভিন্ন ধরনের Pattern সহ Pattern Swatches দেখালেও Gradient এবং Color Swatch দেখা যাবে না।

7. Finally, click on the first button and select Show All Swatches.
7. শেষে আবারও প্রথম বাটনে ক্লিক করে Show All Swatches, ক্লিক করে সিলেক্ট করুন।

Now look at all types of swatches.
এখন লক্ষ্য করুন সব ধরনের Swatches গুলো দেখা যাচ্ছে।

8. Click the Selection tool from the toolbox and select it.
8. টুলবক্স থেকে Selection টুলে ক্লিক করে সিলেক্ট করুন।

Select your drawn Rounded Rectangle.
আপনার আঁকা Rounded Rectangle টি সিলেক্ট হবে।

9. Click the color button to fill the color Selection section of the toolbox.
9. টুলবক্সের Color Selection অংশ থেকে Fill কালার বাটনে ক্লিক করুন।

Fill color will be selected.
Fill কালার সিলেক্ট হবে।

10. Notice the changes by clicking on the different color, gradient and pattern of the Swatch panel.
10. Swatch প্যানেলের বিভিন্ন Color, Gradient এবং Pattern এ একে একে ক্লিক করে পরিবর্তন লক্ষ্য করুন।

বিভিন্ন Color, Gradient এবং Pattern দিয়ে Rounded Rectangle টির Fill কালার পূর্ণ হবে।

11. Click the third button at the bottom of the Swatches panel and click on Show Gradient Swatches option from the menu below.
11. Swatches প্যানেলের নিচের দিকের তৃতীয় বাটনে ক্লিক করে নিচের মেনু থেকে Show Gradient Swatches অপশনে ক্লিক করুন।

Gradient Swatches can be seen.
Gradient Swatches গুলো দেখা যাবে।

12. Click the triangle button at the top right of the Swatches panel. The Swatches drop-down menu will arrive.
12. Swatches প্যানেলের উপরের দিকে ডানে ত্রিভুজ বাটনে ক্লিক করুন। Swatches ড্রপ ডাউন মেনু আসবে।

13. Select Short List View from the drop down menu. The name of the gradient swatches can be seen.
13. ড্রপ ডাউন মেনু থেকে Small List View সিলেক্ট করুন। Gradient Swatches গুলোর নাম দেখা যাবে।

14. Finally, select Orange, Yellow.
14. শেষে Orange, Yellow টি সিলেক্ট করুন।

15. To remove the selection of the Rounded Rectangle, click anywhere on the outside of the Rectangle or choose Commands from the menu Select> Deselect (Ctrl + Shift + A)
15. Rounded Rectangle টির সিলেকশন ছাড়ানোর জন্য Rectangle এর বাইরে যেকোন স্থানে ক্লিক করুন অথবা মেনু থেকে কমান্ড দিন Select>Deselect (Ctrl+Shift+A)

Ellipse টুলের ব্যবহার

16. Click on the Rectangle tool in toolbox to keep it brief. Hidden tools will come.
16. টুলবক্সের Rectangle টুলের উপর ক্লিক করে কিছুক্ষন ধরে রাখুন। Hidden টুলগুলো আসবে।

17. Select the hidden tool's third tool ie Ellipse tool.
17. Hidden টুলের তৃতীয় টুল অর্থাৎ Ellipse টুল সিলেক্ট করুন।

18. If there is a cursor over the document, a plus (+) sign will appear as before. Make an Ellipse (oval) paste by dragging it in the same process.
18. ডকোমেন্টের উপর কার্সর নিলে পূর্বের মত একটি প্লাস (+) সাইন আসবে। একই প্রক্রিয়ায় ড্রাগ করে একটি Ellipse (ডিম্বাকৃতি) সেপ তৈরী করুন।

19. Fill Color Gradient Selecting will be completed with Ellipse T Gradient. Now arbitrarily fill and stroke color can be changed.
19. Fill কালারে Gradient সিলেক্ট থাকার কারণে Ellipse টি Gradient দিয়ে পূর্ন হবে। এখন ইচ্ছামত Fill এবং Stroke কালার পরিবর্তন করা যাবে।

Tips: If you want to draw circles, press the Shift key from the keyboard while dragging.

Tips: বৃত্ত আঁকতে চাইলে ড্রাগ করার সময় কী বোর্ড থেকে Shift কী প্রেস করে রাখতে হবে।

20. Click the Selection button from Toolbox. Ellipse will be selected.
20. টুলবক্স থেকে সিলেকশন টুলে ক্লিক করুন। Ellipse টি সিলেক্ট হবে।

21. Click the Show Swatch Kinds menu button at the bottom of the Swatches panel and click on Show Pattern Swatches option.
21. Swatches প্যানেলের নিচের দিকের দুই নম্বর বাটন অর্থাৎ Show Swatch Kinds menu বাটনে ক্লিক করে Show Pattern Swatches অপশনে ক্লিক করুন।

22. Different types of parartans can be seen. Taking the pointer over each pattern will display the name of the pattern in the form of tool tips. (There may be a paraton.)
22. বিভিন্ন ধরনের প্যার্টান দেখা যাবে। প্রতিটি Pattern এর উপর পয়েন্টার নিলে Tool Tips আকারে Pattern এর নাম দেখাবে। (একটি প্যার্টান থাকতে পারে। )

23. Take the pointer on the 1st pattern, click on the name Pompadour, select it.
23. ১ম Pattern টির উপর পয়েন্টার নিন, নাম দেখাবে Pompadour, ক্লিক করে সিলেক্ট করুন।

24. Notice that the Ellipse Sepite you made will be filled with a new pattern.
24. লক্ষ্য করুন আপনার তৈরী করা Ellipse সেপটি নতুন Pattern দ্বারা পূর্ণ হবে।

25. Release the selection by clicking outside the seaport.
25. সেপের বাইরে ক্লিক করে সিলেকশন ছাড়ান।
