Style এ Background Image অ্যাট্রিবিউট

এই অ্যাট্রিবিউটের সাহায্যে ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ডে কালারের পরিবর্তে ইমেজকে ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ড হিসাবে দেওয়া যাবে। এক্ষেত্রে সাধারণত jpeg, gif অথবা png ইমেজ ব্যবহার করা হয়। গোড়াতেই আমরা বলে নিয়েছি HTML ফাইলগুলোকে একটি নির্দিষ্ট ফোল্ডারে রাখুন। যদি তা না রেখে থাকেন তবে এখনই একটি ফোল্ডার তৈরী করে সমস্ত HTML ফাইল রাখুন। এখন সমস্ত ইমেজ ফাইলকে একই ফোল্ডারে কপি করে রাখুন। অন্য ফোল্ডারে ফাইল রাখলেও চলবে তবে সেক্ষেত্রে সঠিক ভাবে Path বলে দিতে হবে। আমরা এ বিষয়ে পরে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করবো। আমরা এখন earth.gif নামের একটি ফাইলকে ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ড হিসেবে ব্যবহার করবো। এই ট্যাগের ফরম্যাট হচ্ছে:

যদি ইমেজটি ছোট হয় তবে হরিজেন্টালি ও ভার্টিক্যালি রিপিট হবে।

উদাহরণ স্বরূপ কোড হচ্ছে নিম্নরূপ:
